AS festival season draws ever closer, line-up announcements are coming in thick and fast and it has come to that time of year when music fans are pulling out their festival calendars to make plans for the summer.

With new events and exciting line-ups springing up all over the country, it comes as no surprise to know that Scotland has developed its own impressive festival circuit over the years; from huge mainstream events to small, boutique festivals, there really is something for everyone. On top of that, we’ve compiled a roster of the finest up-and-coming talent from both right here in Scotland to acts from further afield including Catholic Action, The Big Moon, Anteros, Sway, Lucia, Stevie Parker, Dead Pretties, LIFE, Fauves and Rascalton.

Featuring over 50 bands and spanning nine of the Glasgow’s most illustrious and well-known venues, tickets are available now via Ticketmaster.

Widely regarded as Scotland’s best small festival, organisers have once again taken strides to showcase some of the most exciting music around at the moment with established names such as The Jesus and Mary Chain, Arab  Strap, Band of Horses and Fatherson appearing alongside emerging musicians such as Declan Welsh & the Decadent West, Rascalton, Edwin Organ and more.

TTV is delighted to be hosting a stage at this year’s festival which will showcase some of the best new music from around Scotland and further afield. Following an incredible response to recent line-up announcements, organisers have encouraged festival-goers to snap up their tickets while they still can.

Set to be one of the biggest music events held in Scotland this year, a recent announcement confirmed that there will also be plenty of room for some of the nation’s finest emerging talent with The Van T’s, The Vegan Leather, JR Green and many more set to grace the King Tut’s stage.
