What’s the last thing you said in WhatsApp to another person in music?
“That’s of course heavily classified and if told you I’d have to kill you and all that! I CAN tell you it’s definitely something very hip and cool, but that goes without saying…”
How do you feel about the current state of the world and the effect it will have on the music industry?
“I don’t really have the words to express concisely my feelings about right now, but thankfully music will always outlast the struggle and the horror and be there for us whenever it feels like our world is ending.”
What 5 bands/artists are on your isolation playlist?
“The Strokes, ABBA, Hudson Mohawke, The Beatles, Daft Punk/anything Thomas Bangalter.”
When the world gets back to normal what’s the first thing you are going to do?
“See my Grandma as safely as I can.”
What’s next for you?
“Lots and lots of releases! Both commercial and underground. Some I’ve been sitting on forever, some I wrote just last week. I’ve never felt more excited about sharing music and connecting with people.”
