CANADIAN dream-pop outfit Alvvays are back with a new album and upcoming shows which includes a date in Glasgow.

After months of speculation and increasing excitement for their fans, the band have finally confirmed that their second full length album is on the way in September.

Wittily entitled Antisocialites, the forthcoming album has been prefaced with the emergence of the fantastic new track ‘In Undertow’.

Bridging the gap between the immersive sound that defined their eponymous debut album and a more refined version of what makes them so special, frontwoman Molly Rankin has described the record as a ‘fantasy breakup arc’ and will be comprised of ten new tracks.

Prior to the album’s release on the 8th September, the band will be descending upon the UK for a string of shows including a date at Glasgow’s Saint Lukes on the 27th August.

Tickets for the upcoming show will be available from Friday at 9am.
