WITH Resonate once again taking over Glasgow’s Barras Art & Design Centre on Thursday 14th November, the Scottish music conference is now opening submissions for artists from across the country to have the chance to perform at this year’s event.

2019’s Resonate is set to be the biggest to date, and now is YOUR chance to get involved alongside the incredible lineup of speakers and contributors, including Pat Carr, Kiran Patel, Adam Stark and more. Using data storage platform DISCO, artists are being asked to submit one track (as an MP3 or WAV) alongside a background biography, accolades and the reasons why performing at Resonate would benefit their career. An independent panel of judges will work through the submissions, with the winning six artists taking to the stage in Glasgow’s East End on Thursday 14th November. Artists can apply here.

Previous years have seen Lizzie Reid, Declan Welsh & The Decadent West, Kate Kyle, Luna the Professor and more take to the stage in front of an audience of music fans, students, industry players and fellow musicians. Speaking about Resonate, Kate Kyle said, “Performing at Resonate Live 2018 was an amazing experience. The opportunity to showcase my own songwriting in front of an audience that included a long list of individuals, working and promoting the finest of the UK music industry – you don’t get that kind of platform every day”

Tickets for Resonate 2019 are on sale now.
