AFTER teasing their new album with a couple of cryptic messages on their social media – one being a question that asks ‘Are you afraid of heights?’ – Bastille have revealed details of their long-awaited upcoming album that follows 2013’s Bad Blood.
The band have teased the new album, which will be called Wild World, extensively aside from the oracular social media posts. There’s a mysterious teaser video online that features a snippet of a new track and the rather perplexing message ‘WWCOMMS. 001 // Hello’.
The shared video is a fierce watch, complete with a soundtrack-esque, melodic track that shows a person falling slowly in the air with a crowd watching.
There’s no official release date on the album as of yet, but it is expected to be released later in the year. The band are due to play T in the Park in July and several other major summer European festivals.
