FOLLOWING the success of BBC at the Quay festival in Glasgow during last year’s Commonwealth Games, the line-up for the Vic Galloway presented BBC Introducing strand of BBC Music at the Quay has been revealed.
Taking place on Sunday 7th June between 12:00-20:00, a full day will be dedicated to BBC Introducing from the pop-up festival site, outside BBC Scotland featuring bands including previous T Break band Honeyblood, United Fruit and Man of Moon; the latter who yesterday announced they will support Admiral Fallow at their Glasgow Art School show.
The event will also see Kobi Onyame, Jonnie Common, Ubre Blanca, Sorren Maclean and Kloe. All the artists playing are from Scotland and have come through the BBC Introducing Uploader on Vic Galloway’s Radio Scotland show – spanning genres from indie, rock, electronica, hip-hop, pop and acoustic song.
The event is one of the free shows taking place during the festival. Find out more information via the BBC website.
