SCOTTISH
alt-rock titans Biffy Clyro are set to headline this year’s Hogmanay celebrations in the nation’s capital of Edinburgh.

Set to play alongside other esteemed Scottish acts such as Idlewild and Glasgow’s own Honeyblood, the band will make their return at the ‘Concert In The Gardens’ following a lengthy period of radio silence.

Previously headlining the event in 2010, the performance will be among their first Scottish shows since their run of dates at The Barrowlands in which they played classic albums such as Blackened Sky, Infinity Land, Puzzle and more in their entirety.

Speaking in reference to the performance, the band have stated that: “We want to rock off the cobwebs and prepare for the year of da biff. Nothing can compete with Edinburgh’s celebrations and we hope to make it a special night for everyone.”

Tickets for the concert go on sale next week.
