PROLIFIC Happy Mondays side project Black Grape have announced a new UK and declared their intention to head back into the studio for the first time in nearly 20 years.
Comprised of Shaun Ryder, Bez and Kermit of the Ruthless Rap Assassins, the tour follows last year’s anniversary of It’s Great When You’re Straight… Yeah and is likely to see them debut their first new music in nearly two decades.
Speaking in a press release, Ryder has said that “I am loving Black Grape and really enjoying it this time round, more than ever. I’m looking forward to doing ‘It’s Great When You’re Straight… Yeah’ on tour and can’t wait to get stuck into recording a new album.”
