THE iconic Blondie are set to embark on a new UK tour which features a date at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
Known for their timeless tracks and the crucial role they played in New York’s lauded punk and new wave scene of the late 70’s, the band are primed to mark the release of their newest LP with a jaunt across the Atlantic.
Entitled Pollinator, their 11th studio album featured guest appearances from revered artists ranging from TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes and The Stroke’s Nick Valensi to contemporary Joan Jett on the opening track ‘Doom Or Destiny.’
Debbie Harry and co’s first visit to Scotland since performing at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall in 2013, tickets for all shows are available from 9am on Friday 7th July.
