A new book of beautiful pictures of Amy Winehouse taken prior to the release of her debut album is set to be released in Summer.
Entitled ‘Before Frank’, the new book contains a series of snaps taken by Charles Moriarty, a photographer that worked extensively with the late starlet as she began to rise to prominence in the early days of her career.
Crowd-funded via Kickstarter in order to cover production costs, the book consists of images from shots in both New York and London, with Moriarty himself proclaiming that “Although I remember this time with Amy well, when I look at these images I can’t help but smile, you can see the freedom and joy of youth in them.’
