Glastonbury Festival
BOOKIES
have wasted little time in announcing the odds for next year’s Glastonbury headliners.

Less than 24 hours since the festival concluded with a headline set from Coldplay, William Hill have announced that the reformed Guns & Roses are primed to top the festival bill with odds of 8/11.

Outwith their official favourite, the bookmakers have priced Kasabian; who are expected to return with a new record this year, are priced at 5/4 whilst The Stone Roses and Radio are positioned at joint third place with odds of 2/1.

Other artists that have been put forward for a headline slot include The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, The Who, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Manic Street Preachers and Justin Bieber.

William Hill’s Joe Crilly has said of the developments: “After yet another successful Glastonbury, all thoughts will already be turning towards 2017’s festival and it looks likely that a couple of recently reformed bands – Guns N’ Roses and The Stone Roses – may be headlining the Pyramid Stage next summer.”
