Camera Obscura Perform At The Forum In London
THE
charity fund for the late Camera Obscura keyboardist Carey Lander has reached its staggering £100,000 target.

Set up by Lander herself and in aid of Sarcoma UK; a charity which deals with the rare  and all too often unpublicised form of cancer known as Osteosarcoma, her campaign has been the subject of numerous fundraisers including Broadcast’s David Bowie tribute night in January and the more recent sponsored danceathon at The Flying Duck.

With her original fundraising target set at £5,000, Sarcoma UK’s chief executive Lindsey Bennister has spoken of her gratitude to those who’ve donated and to Lander herself by stating that “celebrating hitting a new target 20 times that amount is simply phenomenal and gives a glimpse at just what might be possible for the future of Sarcoma UK and those who are affected by sarcoma.”

With the campaign becoming their largest ever single appeal, anyone who’d wish to donate to this truly worthy cause and pay tribute to Carey can do so via https://www.justgiving.com/carey-lander.
