LIVERPOOL indie outfit Circa Waves have announced an extensive UK tour for March and April of next year, which will see them play some of their biggest headline gigs to date.
The news follows last week’s announcement that the band will be releasing their new album Different Creatures on 10th March. Having experienced a meteoric rise following the release of their popular debut album Young Chasers last year, the band have shown signs of their huge ambitions moving forward, marking a siginificant shift towards a heavier and emboldened sound with new track ‘Wake Up’. Discussing the forthcoming album, lead singer and songwriter Kieran Shudall has said: “I’m a different person now -I feel like I’ve got a fire in my belly with this record”
The aforementioned UK tour will include a date at the Barrowlands in Glasgow; a venue that has become a rite of passage for some of the country’s biggest guitar bands. With tickets on general sale on Friday 2nd December, the rest of the tour schedule can be seen below.
