DAVID BOWIE
is set to release a new album in January.

Set to be his 25th full length LP, the iconic and prolific star will follow up 2013’s The Next Day with ‘Blackstar’, an album that has been portrayed by sources as a rather daring proposition.

As reported by The Times, an insider within Bowie’s camp has revealed that the record is comprised of seven tracks and was recorded in its entirety at New York’s Magic Shop Studio alongside a number of jazz musicians.

The unnamed figure has clarified what Bowie’s adoring fanbase can expect from the album, stating that it shall contain “long, jazzy jams mixed with the kind of driving beat pioneered by Seventies German bands Can and Kraftwerk.”

Blackstar will be released on the 8th January 2016 while its lead single will emerge next month.
