SCOTLAND’S Electric Fields is preparing to give ambitious artists the chance to play the festival and its upcoming warm-up tour.
Taking place at the end of August, the third edition of this amazing event will be the sight of the inaugural year of its special Stuart Cruickshank Stage and there’s a sought after place on the bill up for grabs.
In addition to playing the festival, the winner will be awarded with additional sets at warm-up shows in both Dumfries and Glasgow on the 11th and 19th August.
Culminating with a performance on the festival’s second largest stage alongside bands such as Baby Strange, Fat White Family, The Go Team, Songhoy Blues, Model Aeroplanes, Be Charlotte and more.
The entry process is a case of submitting your music and information via the Electric Fields website which will then allow their panel of industry figures to assess it and enable a winner to be chosen.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 27th July.
