ELECTRIC FIELDS have announced Dizzee Rascal as the festival’s Saturday night headliner alongside an extensive list of new additions to the line-up.

Garnering a reputation as one of Scotland’s finest festivals and held at the tranquil Drumlanrig Castle, the event’s already impressive bill has been bolstered after organisers unveiled another wave of both established artists and burgeoning stars.

While the grime and pioneering figure in British hip-hop will take top billing as one of this year’s headliners, other acts joining the bill include Band Of Horses, Glass Animals, Real Estate, Kate Tempest, Peter Hook & The Light, Anna Meredith, British Sea Power, This Is The Kit, Aldous Harding, Marnie, The Vegan Leather, Sacred Paws, Savage Mansion, Future Get Down, The Cut, The Calm Fiasco, Nieves, 13 Crowes and Tiderays.

Glasgow based DJ Jackmaster will also headline the Sneaky Pete’s stage with other electronic acts including Artwork, Denis Sulta, Space Dimension Controller and Lord Of The Isles also set to perform.

Making their way onto a bill which already featured artists ranging from The Jesus And Mary Chain and Frightened Rabbit to Crash Club and Brat And The Bonemen, final tickets will be on sale from 9am tomorrow via their official website.
