THE ENEMY’S frontman Tom Clarke has announced that he’ll be heading out on a special unplugged tour in celebration of their debut album We’ll Live And Die In These Towns.

The record that remained their magnum opus until they made the decision to part ways in October of last year after an emotional farewell tour, the new jaunt around the UK will see the band’s driving force performing the songs that catapulted them into the hearts and minds of millions across the UK.

With the record going on to become a platinum selling album in an era where that was becoming less and less common, Tom Clarke detailed his reasoning behind the tour and stated that: “When ‘We’ll Live & Die In These Towns’ was first released in June 2007, I couldn’t have imagined the love that people would have for it,” said frontman Tom Clarke. “Over the years it’s been obvious that for many it’s the defining Enemy album. It would be wrong then to let its tenth anniversary pass without so much as a nod to its importance. That’s why I’m inviting fans to some very intimate shows to celebrate the songs from the debut, stripped back to their bare essentials and played acoustically.”
