THE GREAT ESCAPE have announced the first fifty artists who will play next year’s festival.

Known as the world’s biggest showcase for new music, the event’s first announcement is a positively eclectic gathering of talent with Scottish singer-songwriting sensation Lewis Capaldi and goth-pop foursome The Ninth Wave featured alongside the likes of indie-pop outfit Pale Waves, Spanish dancehall artist Bad Gyal and gritty punk band Hotel Lux.

The Great Escape festival organiser Rory Bett said: “TGE is all about championing and celebrating new music and next year we have such an exciting selection of new artists across every music genre to engage with. In our 13th year we are completely focussed on delivering another programme that wholly embodies this ethos.”

Alongside the first announcement of artists, organisers have announced the first headliners of one of their renowned Spotlight shows. After a hugely productive year for both artists, the MOBO nominated MIST and MoStack will take on the iconic Brighton Dome on Saturday 19th May.

Early Bird tickets are still available for a short amount of time at a discounted price here.
