THE first official trailer for the upcoming Iggy and the Stooges documentary ‘Gimme Danger’ has emerged online and is sure to leave the band’s devoted fans in a frenzy.
Proclaimed by as the ‘greatest rock ‘n’ roll band ever’ by famed director Jim Jarmusch at the very start of the trailer, it soon cuts back to incredible footage of the band’s heyday narrated by the man less commonly known as Iggy Pop.
Speaking in reference to the chaos that they incited at gigs alongside their communal approach to living, recording and sharing royalties, the film also contains contributions from Stooges members James Williamson as well as the late Ron Asheton and Scott Asheton.
‘Gimme Danger’ will open in cinemas on the 28th October. Watch the trailer below now:
