THE first wave of acts for the upcoming Freakender inner city festival has been announced.
Situated on Glasgow’s bustling Renfield Lane between the 16th-18th September, Freakender has been put together by DIY labels Fuzzkill Records and El Rancho as well as club night Eyes Wide Open.
Featuring a myriad of great garage rock, psych and lo-fi alternative outfits, bands set to perform include LA’s Feels, The Cosmic Dead, London’s Three MVPS, Virgin Kids, Breakfast Muff, Halfrican, Spinning Coin, COWTOWN, Germany’s Wedding, LYLO, Sweaty Palms, The Bellybuttons, Fruit Tones and Electric Gardens.
With more bands set to be announced in the near future, the inaugural addition of ‘Freakender’ will also feature DJ’s, late night discos and even a bloody Mary comedown party.
