FONTAINES D.C. have announced a huge stadium tour, including a show at Glasgow Green on Tuesday 6th July, with support from Little Simz and Viagra Boys.
The Irish outfit have only just sold out a night at the OVO Hydro this morning as part of their biggest arena tour to date. The huge tour, in support of their upcoming album ‘Dopamine’, launches on 21st October and finishes at London’s O2 Arena on 27th November. They play the Hydro on 22nd November.
However, fans who missed out this morning shouldn’t be too disappointed as a new date is already on the horizon. The band will headline Glasgow Green on 6th July with Little Simz and Viagra Boys, in what will be their biggest Scottish show to date.
The huge outdoor shows include Blackweir Fields in Cardiff (29th June), St James Park in Newcastle (1st July), Heaton Park in Manchester (3rd July), and London Stadium (9th July).
Tickets go on sale next week, with a Gigs in Scotland and Paypal presale on Wednesday 9th September at 9am. General sale starts at 10am on Thursday 10th September.
In the meantime, the new record ‘Dopamine’, set to show a new side to the band, will arrive on 16th October. They debuted some new material at Reading and Leeds, and Electric Picnic over the weekend.
