SCOTLAND’S very own Frightened Rabbit have revealed their plans to return and teased new music via a short video.
Having been very cryptic regarding the prospect of their return and hinting towards new artwork from an upcoming project, the band have been so gracious as to put their fans out of their misery by giving us a miniscule yet rewarding taste of what’s to come from their upcoming release.
Set against an opaque background and little more than painstakingly eked out piano the mournful yet enveloping sound of Scott Hutchison’s distinctive vocals soon fills the void as their upcoming album’s artwork begins to take shape.
Featuring the kind of deeply metaphorical and highly descriptive lyrics that have became synonymous with their sound, the video’s caption reads “A still life / is the last I will see of you / my painting of a panic attack.”
‘My Painting Of A Panic Attack’ is set for release on the 8th April 2016.
