WITH festive season soon upon us, Fuzzkill Records have announced details of their annual Christmas party, set to take place on 17th December.
Taking over The Old Hairdressers on Renfield Lane for a night, they will be bringing in the festivities with a night of live performances and DJ sets from some old and new friends. Perhaps most exciting is the news that Glasgow cult band Deathcats will be making their live return for the event. As one of the first bands to jump on board with the label, they came to enjoy a fruitful partnership which produced a number of releases, including their first LP ‘All Hail Deathcats’.
They will be joined by fellow long-time label favourites Fruit Tones, Secret Motorbikes, The Bellybuttons and Lush Purr. Meanwhile, DJ sets will come from El Rancho, Sweaty Palms and Breakfast Muff.
The Christmas party will bookend what has been another busy year of releases and gigs for the independent label, having established themselves as a central part of Glasgow’s DIY music scene. Tickets can be found here. Check out our T Break session with Deathcats below:
