king tut's 25th birthday videoGLASGOW’s King Tuts venue is shortlisted for Britain’s Best Small Venue which is an annual nation-wide competition in association with Jack Daniels and NME magazine.

Readers vote and nominate for their chosen venue and hundreds of entries have been narrowed down to just ten. King Tuts is the only Scottish venue to make the list.

The competition aims to pay tribute to small independent venues and in addition runs a series of special gigs, giving back to fans.

Previous winners of the award include Tunbridge Wells Forum (2012), Southampton Joiners (2013) and Norwich Arts Centre (2014). You can vote for your favourite venue via NME’s website.
