HELP MUSICIANS UK have announced a second round of the COVID-19 Do It Differently Fund. Having seen an incredible level of talent, innovation and appetite to create over the last few weeks, the music charity are encouraging artists to apply from their website here.

The COVID-19 Do It Differently fund recognises that musicians are having to work in innovative ways due to the restrictions around social distancing. The fund aims to:

– Offer a package of support for professional, creative and wellbeing development

-Enable creative independence for music creators who wish to explore working innovatively through digital methods

-Encourage new habits and good practices of sustainable wellbeing.

Successful projects will be offered funding and one-to-one business advice by ThinkMusic via Skype.  Offering a grant of £3,000, musicians will be supported to navigate the current uncertainty due to the Coronavirus outbreak, and to find new ways of remaining creative and productive during the downtime created by self-isolation.

Help Musicians UK partners British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) will consult with awardees to help them reflect on their health and welfare needs while awardees are also given one year free Pro membership with Featured Artists Coalition (FAC).

Deadlines for applications are Friday 1st May. Find out how to apply and what they can fund here.
