HITTING the Scottish road from the 14th – 16th November 2019, Hit The Road has unveiled the latest batch of artists joining them for show in Dumfries, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

With an alumni that includes Man of Moon, JR Green, Indigo Velvet, Be Charlotte, Lewis Capaldi and more, Hit The Road has been taking the best of Scottish youth musical talent across the country. Aiming to teach artists between the age of 14 and 19 about touring life, this initiative aims to equip young artists with the knowledge, contacts and tools to build a career in live music, with funding from Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative and PRS Foundation.

Dumfries-born Kate Kyle joins Hit The Road following being shortlisted for the BBC Radio Scotland Singer-Songwriter Award, with a host of live experience and festivals under her belt and a debut EP released earlier this year. Joining Kate are Edinburgh’s Sophie Penman and Hector Shaw, both armed with an arsenal of songs and live shows across Scotland’s Capital.
