IGGY Pop played a two hour tribute to David Bowie in a special BBC 6 Music show featuring Iggy’s favourite Bowie tunes and conversation of times their paths crossed.

The show was aired last week ahead of BBC’s Proms tribute to the late David Bowie where an orchestra played through a setlist of his massive hits.

Iggy’s musical legacy has inspired and energised rock and roll’s alternative spirit since the late Sixties and his stage antics have marked him as a truly iconic frontman. He’s had a show on BBC 6 Music for a few years and has given lectures on musical topics including the idea of ‘free music’ which is still available as a podcast from the BBC or you can watch it via Youtube below.
