JAGWAR Ma fans can rejoice this morning, as the band share more news of a new record confirming they are back in the studio.
Sharing a picture of sunflowers in a field, the band commented: “Back in the studio…. more or less.”
This morning’s message to fans follows a picture of guitars on 10th July with the caption: “Studio De Wheels.” The band have also shared their summer soundtracks hinting at music that could influence the new record including James Brown’s ‘Cold Sweat’ and Martha Reeves & The Vandellas ‘Heatwave’. It appears that the band are writing and recording the new record in London.
The band’s debut record Howlin was released in 2013 and saw the band tour around including celebrated slots at Primavera Sound in 2014 followed by an amazing performance at Glastonbury the month after. The band have also sold out shows in Glasgow including King Tuts.
