JOSEPHINE SILLARS brings her popular multimedia show ‘Ripped From The Wire Spine’ to Edinburgh this month with support from Emily Elver and Bella and the Bear.

The young singer-songwriter, who has toured around Scotland and Europe, has become known for her rich lyrical narratives and theatrical pop compositions. Following sold out shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015 and Glasgow’s Hug and Pint in March 2016, along with a debut Highland performance at Eden Court’s One Touch Theatre, she will now revisit ‘Ripped From The Wire Spine’ for another outing at the Scottish Storytelling Centre on 23rd March.

Combining music, storytelling, spoken word and film through a series of interviews with other musicians including Rachel Sermanni, Emma Pollock, Declan Welsh and many more, the multimedia show is a coming of age story about her own experiences as a singer-songwriter and growing up in the Highlands. Paying close attention to the Scottish music scene, it will provide an insight into the challenges that young musicians face when balancing the creative side of music with the business side of the industry.

Taking place on 23rd March, it will be another great opportunity to see this unique show in practice. You can buy tickets here.
