JULIAN Casablancas + The Voidz have previewed the forthcoming video for ‘Human Sadness.’
One of the standout tracks from their incredibly well received record Tyranny that emerged last year, ‘Human Sadness’ is a sprawling opus that clocks in at 11 minutes long; laced with bizarre instrumentation, warped vocals and various forays into different genres.
in the short teaser trailer, there is a multitude of the kind of retro-futuristic imagery and attire that has become synonymous with any of Julian Casablancas non-Strokes material, as well as clips that pertain to the Vietnam war and the civil rights movement. Culminating in an ominous shot of a large meteor presumably plummeting to earth, the anticipation is high to see what Julian and his band have created to match such an intriguing track.
With Casablancas returning to his post as frontman of The Strokes for various huge shows, he’ll still find time to perform with The Voidz at events such as Primavera and One Love Festival.
