DISCO legends Kool And The Gang will head to Glasgow for this year’s West End Fiesta.
Joining their contemporaries Chic featuring Nile Rodgers in a headlining capacity, the band behind such instantly recognisable tracks as ‘Get Down On It’, ‘Jungle Boogie’, ‘Celebration’ and many more will head to the city’s iconic Kelvingrove Bandstand on Friday 9th June.
Formed way back in 1964, the band’s career has spanned eras, genres and all manner of trends but their sound has remained in demand with everyone from Quentin Tarantino to hip-hop artists looking to sample their material.
In addition to Kool And The Gang, Friday will also see performances from DopeSickFly, Nicky Siano and Andrew Devine.
