THE Lapelles have released a reimagined version of their banging hit ‘Grab Life By’ in a new “lockdown” collaboration with Declan Welsh four years since the original release.
In a post on social media, the band wrote: “Hello everybody. It’s a strange world at the moment. At a time when loved ones are being lost, where mental health & our resilience is being tested, we wanted to put together this video.
“It was 4 years since we released ‘Grab Life By’ and it continues to grow in poignance to us. Our own fallen brother will never be forgotten. We brought in our good friend Declan Welsh and performed a little isolation version of the song ourselves. This one is for Gary Fucking Watson, it’s for those that are grieving, for those that are struggling, for those that need that spark to get up in the morning. We hope you enjoy it. x”
