SOURCES close to Liam Gallagher have announced that he’ll be performing material from Oasis’ Be Here Now during his upcoming solo shows.

Citing a desire to provide audiences with something that they ‘won’t be getting’ from his former bandmate and sibling Noel’s gigs, tracks which he’s expected to play from the band’s divisive third album include ‘D’you Know What I Mean?’ ‘My Big Mouth’ and the sombre ‘Don’t Go Away.’

First divulged to Radio X’s Gordon Smart, the news follows the deluxe remastering of the record which was unveiled to the public last year.

An album which Noel Gallagher wrote whilst holidaying on a private island and is intended; in his words,  to be”accompanied by a crate of beer and a bag of fucking charlie”, early speculation has suggested that Liam’s solo set will also feature a diverse range of tracks from the band’s catalogue as well as output from his time in Beady Eye.

Whilst there is no official release date for Liam’s solo debut as of yet, the same source has also proclaimed that the iconic frontman is confident that his new material will resonate with audiences and hopes to perform in arenas across the country.
