A band that many are still mourning the loss of to this day, The Rapture are still often cited as an influence on many of today’s acts due to their unique and enrapturing sound. At one time the poster boys of an American post-punk revolution after rising to prominence in 2003 with ‘House Of Jealous Lover, the band had been silent since the release of 2011’s In The Grace Of Your Love.
Recorded over 10 years ago during the sessions for their sophomore full length Pieces Of The People We Love, producer Danger Mouse has taken to Soundcloud to unveil a never-before-heard track entitled ‘Every Little Thing’.
Capturing the essence of what made them such a special proposition, ‘Every Little Thing’ is a down-tempo and forlorn affair which features warped riffs and frontman Luke Jenner’s flamboyant vocals sounding as passionate as ever. A track which stands up to the legacy which they’ve left behind, it’s sure to be embraced by their sorrowful fans with open arms.
