GIGS IN SCOTLAND have announced a new series of socially distanced drive-in concerts called Utilita Live At The Drive-In.

Taking place at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh this August, the concerts will allow music fans to enjoy live music in a completely different way while still complying with the coronavirus guidelines.

Artists confirmed to play at the events include The Streets, Gary Numan, The Snuts, Dizzee Rascal, The Zutons and many more.

The organisers said on Facebook: “Missing live gigs? Us too! Not to worry though, we’re planning something very special this summer!

“Join us at The Royal Highland Centre in August as Utilita Energy Live From The Drive-In comes to Scotland.

“With performances from the likes of Mike Skinner and The Streets,Gary Numan Official, SIGALA, Cream Classical Ibiza, The Brand New Heavies, Beverley Knight, Dizzee Rascal!, The Snuts, The Zutons and MANY more, you’ll be able to experience live music again, in a safe and socially distant manner.

Utilita Live At The Drive-In will be rolled out across the UK between July and September and will visit 12 venues, such as stadiums, racecourses and airports, in cities and towns including London, Liverpool, Bristol and Edinburgh.

Taking place between the 1st and 28th August, the Edinburgh series will kick off with shows from Tony Hadley and The Streets.

Tickets go on sale from Monday 22nd June at 10am.
