MAGNERS Summer Nights have announced Glasgow summer gigs to be held in the refurbished Kelvingrove Bandstand this August. Shows include Steve Earle, The Waterboys and Alison Moyet.

Running across two weekends in August (7th-10th and 14th-16th) acts Squeeze, and Capercaillie also join the line-up along with Glasgow’s very own Teenage Fanclub.

The line up is as follows:

· Thursday 7 August – Steve Earle
· Friday 8 August – The Waterboys
· Saturday 9 August – Alison Moyet
· Thursday 14 August – Capercaillie
· Friday 15 August – Teenage Fanclub
· Saturday 16 August – Squeeze

Magners Summer Nights are the first major events to be announced at the 2,500 capacity bandstand since its £2million refurbishment. Located in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park in the heart of the city’s West End the bandstand sits between some of the city’s most stunning buildings – Glasgow University and Kelvingrove Art Gallery.

The festival will feature a Magners Village incorporating a cider garden and premium street food with areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings with friends. Gates will open at 6pm each night, allowing the audience to enjoy this magnificent setting.
