THE Merrylees have announced they are to support Paul Weller on tour this summer.
Weller will play five shows in June which will take place in forests around England.
The Merrylees, who were one of the successful 16 bands to play T in the Park’s infamous T Break stage last year, recently supported The Coral’s front man James Skelly at his King Tuts show in Glasgow with his band The Intenders.
The band are also to support The Babyshambles in Hamburg. The Merrylees played a rapturous show in Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s last night.
