2008’s biggest indie hits came from New York’s MGMT, and this autumn they are back with a UK tour following the release of their third album this summer.
The band, who had massive UK hits with Time to Pretend and Kids, are set to kick off their UK tour in Glasgow this October.
The band will also play Wolverhampton, Manchester and London.
MGMT were the talk of T in the Park in 2008 following the massive success of their debut album. They played The King Tuts tent to great reviews. Their second album Congratulations saw them sell-out the Barrowlands in Glasgow. The band’s third studio album will be released this summer.
The dates for the UK tour are as follows: Glasgow ABC1 (October 12), Wolverhampton Civic (13), Manchester O2 Apollo (14), London Forum (16).
