SHEFFIELD’S very own Milburn have announced a full-scale UK tour after unveiling the end of their eight-year at the start of 2016.
It had been rumoured that the band would tour beyond their four sold-out hometown dates at O2 Academy Sheffield, where they performed their debut album Well Well Well in full.
The band will start the tour at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms and will hit London’s KOKO and Glasgow’s Oran Mor during the tour run, before finishing at Manchester’s O2 Ritz.
Milburn released their debut album in October 2006 in the midst of the indie explosion that was led by Arctic Monkeys – with both bands originating from the same city of Sheffield. The four-piece split up shortly after the release of their next album, These Are The Facts.
