UNIVERSAL Pictures chairman Donna Langley has hinted that a European NWA tour involving Eminem as an honorary member could be in the works.
The NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton, is scheduled for release on 14th of August and when promoting the film alongside Dr Dre and Ice Cube, Langley said: “We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules, but we think it can create a lot of buzz.” Eminem would take the place of Eazy E, who died of complications due to AIDS back in 1995.
With Dre absent, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella performed as NWA in Los Angeles last month. Eminem already features on the films soundtrack alongside Kendrick Lamar.
