‘BLOOD ORANGE’; the new thriller starring proto punk icon Iggy Pop, has announced its impending UK release.
Set to be released within the next three months after being acquired by Metronome for UK distribution, the film stars Iggy Pop as an aging rock ‘n’ roll legend whose idyllic Balearic lifestyle is disrupted by the re-emergence of his younger wife’s ex-boyfriend.
Having previously took up acting roles in films such as Tank Girl, Cry Baby,Sid & Nancy and more, the film’s director Toby Tobias has claimed that the cult hero was a ‘consummate professional.’
Also starring rising talents such as Ben Lamb and Kacey Barnfield of Inbetweeners fame, its release is set to closely coincide with the release of the legend’s Post Pop Depression LP.
