A new Oasis documentary produced by the team behind this year’s ‘Amy’ has been announced.
On The Corner’s James Gay-Rees and Bafta-winning director Asif Kapadia will look to expand their repertoire of music related production after their at times harrowing look at the life and untimely death of Amy Winehouse with a new piece entered around the Gallagher brothers, the band’s rise to prominence and no doubt their incredibly tempestuous relationship.
In order to produce the film, the filmmakers have allegedly been granted “unprecedented access” to the band and a wealth of previously unreleased archive footage.
Reportedly being launched by Independent Film Sales at upcoming industry event AFM in November, we can’t wait until more concrete news circulates regarding a release date and its content.
