10346619_10153974621498146_5699359805251581738_nPAISLEY’S The Spree Festival has announced its line-up for this year’s event. Returning after two extremely successful years, the town’s national arts festival will welcome artists such as Idlewild, PAWS, Kathryn Joseph and more during a nine day run in October.

The aforementioned Idlewild are set to deliver a unique performance in the ornate sorroundings of the historical Paisley Abbey; teaming up with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra to re-imagine their compositions in an intriguing fashion.

Other exciting events include a SAY Awards showcase within the Spiegeltent; featuring remarkable acts such as this year’s winner Kathryn Joseph, Glasgow outfit PAWS and the lauded Happy Meals.

Also taking place inside the convivial surroundings of the tent, the King Creosote fronted Khartoum Heroes are set to reform for an all too seldom performance on the 17th October 2015. Counting ‘Uncle’ Vic Galloway, The Dead Aviator, Captian Geeko and Uncle Beesly among their ranks, it’s sure to be an intriguing set for fans both old and new.
