PAULWELLPAUL Weller’s new record Saturns Pattern tops the number one spot in this week’s ‘Vinyl Album Chart’. The new release tops the chart alongside new entries from Domino Recordings’ Hot Chip release and Ultravox.

The chart recently launched earlier this year in light of the recent rise of popularity with vinyl sales. Weller is also charted in the second position in the Top 100 chart.

In this week’s chart, Blur remain in the top 5 dropping two places to the number four spot making it their fourth week in the chart’s top 10. Mumford & Sons also remain in the top 10 for the third week running, taking the sixth spot.

The top 20 also sees some classic records peak in sales including the self-titled Stone Roses record and Nirvana’s Unplugged in New York. Recent new releases from Public Service Broadcasting and Sufjan Stevens also remain in the top 20 both riding the chart for the last six and seven weeks respectively.
