Playground Festival announce second wave of artists

PLAYGROUND FESTIVAL have revealed that their Sunday night headliner will be The Flaming Lips.

The Grammy award-winning outfit, who are known for their extravagant and unmissable live shows, will be joined by Bob Marley’s legendary band The Wailers, Scottish cult heroes Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5, Craig Charles Funk and Soul, upcoming indie band Luna The Professor and a very special guest who is yet to be announced.

After a triumphant debut in summer 2019, Playground Festival returns to Rouken Glen Park in the south side of Glasgow later this year. Taking place across the 31st July, 1st and 2nd August, the new wave of acts join previously announced Friday night headliners Underworld, a Leftfield DJ set and Nightmares on Wax.
