Hector Bizerk blew-up the T Break Tent at this year’s T in the Park festival. With a great attitude and energy, the band are a pleasure to watch. Audrey on drums represents the girls taking you on a solid rhythm trip, while Louie on vocals tells tales that every streetwise twenty-something living in Scotland can relate to. The band are getting really tight now, with great live sets under their belt over the last few months. Their set on Friday is sure to impress the Wickerman revellers.

It’s almost surreal typing this, but believe it or not, Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers are also playing Wickerman on Friday evening. The legendary guitarist, famous more recently for the Daft Punk riff in Get Lucky and catchy disco anthem Le Freak. This performance will go down in festival history, especially for Wickerman festival.

After his pink suit / dancing with hot girlband Haim escapade at Glastonbury, there’s great anticipation for Bobby Gillespie’s behaviour on-stage at Wickerman with Primal Scream. And its not only the fashion-choice that will give the crowd some epic entertainment, the band’s latest album 2013 is going down well live with new single Invisible City getting some great airplay on the radio. Primal Scream are an iconic band, and with Little Barrie’s Barry Codogan mesmerizing to watch- don’t miss their headline set on Friday.

Tenement TV caught King Charles in April when he played Glasgow’s King Tuts venue. The crowd went crazy for his catchy tunes Love Lust and Love Blood. The English singer has a unique tone to his vocal and with his music tropically-theme with fast-paced beats; King Charles will be a great summery act to catch this weekend.

Admiral Fallow are a six-piece from Glasgow who play all sorts of instruments, including clarinet, flute, double bass and violins. Their sound is extremely popular within the industry at the moment, a-la We Were Promised Jetpacks a few years ago and East Coast darling’s Frightened Rabbit. Their energetic folk music is beautiful, dreamy and dare we say it, a great contestor for the bands previously mentioned. We can’t wait to catch these guys this weekend.

Other acts to catch over the weekend are Colin Macleod, Pete Roe, Prides and Fake Major who all appear over the two-day event.
