AFTER a huge year taking great strides towards becoming a household name, Glasgow three piece Prides have rewarded their fervent fanbase with a new mixtape of upbeat pop covers.
Inspired by a myriad of tracks that received frequent airplay whilst they were on tour, it includes songs originally recorded by acts such as Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea and The 1975.
Cramming a multitude of tracks into eight minutes and recorded at Glasgow’s Old Mill Studios, it features the band playing a grand total of six instruments, utilising their trademark electro pop sound in order to mould the songs in their own image.
The mixtape is available to watch and listen to on Youtube now. Those looking to catch them on tour can do so on their upcoming headline tour in 2015, featuring dates in both Edinburgh and Inverness.
