QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE debuted a never-before-heard new track at their first gig in two years.

Held at Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls, New York, the Josh Homme-fronted rock pioneers delivered a set which saw not only the live debut of new single ‘The Way You Used To Do’ but the first public airing of ‘The Evil Has Landed.’

Set for inclusion on their forthcoming Mark Ronson-helmed album Villains, an audio recording of the previously unaired composition has been shared online and it is safe to say that it displays the band firing on all cylinders. A muscular track that evokes the maniacal riffery of Songs For The Deaf era QOTSA whilst also casting allusions toward the more classic rock indebted sound of Homme’s work with Them Crooked Vultures, its unveiling has sent fans into a frenzy and the album’s release on the 25th August can’t come quick enough.
