
RESONATE music conference is back in Glasgow this week – taking place at Platform Glasgow on 13th November.
Perfect for upcoming artists, producers, studio owners, label heads, artist managers or anyone interested in finding out all about the music industry, Resonate promises a day full of interesting discussion, networking and live showcases.
Highlights include a production workshop with Ewan McVicar and David Forbes, plus a conversation with Tim Abbot of Creation Records/ OasisDefinitely who will be sharing stories of his time as Managing Director of the infamous Creation Records, artist management for UB40 and Robbie Williams, and his marketing experience with Fatboy Slim.
This year’s event provides a huge array of musical insight and experience, including an ‘In Conversation With VUKOVI’ panel, a ‘Behind the Spotlight’ panel featuring Fortitude Music’s Umong Shah, Ben Foulston from Clintons Solicitors, Notting Hill/ Kingdom Management’s Rosie Watson and WME agent Phoebe Holley who will inform aspiring professionals on key aspects of developing a successful team. Resonate has plenty more intriguing and inspiring panels lined up in the form of ‘CPL – Grassroots to Greatness’ featuring Donald McLeod and Ellen McEleney, ‘Rights and Royalties’ with Jamie Gilmour (Rightsbridge) and an informative Sync Panel with James Gray, Sophie Urquhart and Anne Booty. Elsewhere the Listening Table will see Resonate’s A&R professionals share valuable insights and thoughtful feedback on track submissions, offering detailed notes, creative suggestions, and insider industry tips designed to help you refine your sound and take your music to the next level.

After the insightful panels and networking throughout the day, RESONATE will have a showcase of fresh Scottish musical talent. This year’s lineup includes an Artist Showcase Stage and a separate Emerging Artist Stage, featuring headline star Declan Welsh and the Decadent West, as well as breakout acts Sixth Wonder, Spyres, Sotunde, Cathal Murphy, The Rooks, Jelly and Niamh Morris. In previous years, RESONATE has been a launchpad for artists like BEMZ, ili, The Big Day, Lizzie Reid, and much more.
Now established as a key programme within Scotland’s music sector, RESONATE 2026 promises notable guest speakers of the highest calibre combined with cutting edge advice and mentoring within dedicated spaces for musicians and industry professionals to connect and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping today’s music landscape.
