RESONATE have revealed their full digital programme ahead of this year’s event on Thursday 26th November.
Back for its fourth year, Scotland’s music conference event for industry professionals, musicians, students and aspiring artists will deliver another day practical workshops, panel discussions, advice sessions and presentations. The online event will take place on pioneering virtual event platform Hopin.
Built around an ethos of collaboration, creativity, accessibility & development, attendees can expect 20 activities throughout the day with industry professionals & musicians. Broken down into ‘Sessions’ ‘Stages’ & ‘Expo Booths’, Resonate attendees can dive into sessions such as ; ‘Helping The Live Community Live’,’More Than Music’, ‘Pitch Perfect’, ‘A Modern Guide To Songwriting’, ‘Get Your Priorities Right’ and ‘The Managers Circle’ amongst others.
Topics covered in these sessions include how to support artists and organisations in the live sector who have been devastatingly impacted by the global pandemic, a marketing masterclass in ‘Get Your Priorities Right’ with marketing pioneers like James Pitt & Lucy Sparks who have marketed artists including London Grammar, Christine & The Queens, Camelphat, Bicep & Dave. RESONATE will alsowelcome songwriter Victoria Horn (Lady V) alongside chart topping producer Sky Adams who’s writing credits include Doja Cat, Gorgon City, Sigala & Sub Focus. RESONATE will also welcome spearheads of social and political movements including Glasgow producer TAAHLIAH, A Greener Festival founder Claire O’Neill and PRS Foundation Power Up consultant Yaw Owusu.
With a total of 10 panel led sessions throughout the one day event, RESONATE have ensured there is something for everybody covering an array of topics from perfecting a live streaming home set-up, to pitching to labels, music publishers & management companies.
The event will also be hosting a‘Stage’,where RESONATE attendees can expect to see an exceptional display of presentations which include a UK exclusive tutorial of award winning music technology company ‘WARM – World Airplay Radio Monitoring’ courtesy of Business Operations Manager Claudia G Olano. Another highlight in the programme announcement is the sure to be fan-favourite ‘Deezer Masterclass’. An exclusive opportunity for Scottish musicians to hear from the Deezer team themselves. Top tips on how to manage an artist profile and how to pitch to DEEZER playlist curators.
Attendees can expect to find ample opportunity to flex their digital networking muscles with RESONATE hosting platform HOPIN providing optional ‘meeting rooms’ and ‘networking speed dating’.
